Larry J. Williams

January 6, 1972 — August 3, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry "Bo" Williams at the age of 50. Bo passed unexpectedly on August 3rd, 2022, while on vacation with his family in the Dominican Republic. He was a son, brother, husband, father, and great friend to all who knew him.
Born on January 6th , 1972, he was raised in Ellet, where he was a pitcher on the high school baseball team. His professional career took him to Cleveland where he was employed by the Walter Haverfield law firm for nearly 20 years. During his time in Cleveland, Bo developed an affinity for some of the best food the city had to offer. Everyone knows if you wanted to know where to find the best pizza or ice cream, "just ask Bo."
With his beloved wife of 20 years, Jessica, Bo's crowning achievement was raising their son, Ty . Bo passed along his love of baseball to Ty and mentored him through T-ball, little league, and high school baseball. He had an uncanny way of relating to the kids he coached and many of Ty's friends looked up to him as a second father.
Bo was an exceptional father. He instilled in Ty how important it was to always lend a helping hand when you could. This was evident by Bo and Ty's work with the Akron Snow Angels. Throughout many years, and especially at Christmas, they would help feed, clothe, extend a warm handshake or hug to those in need. Bo taught Ty that it was ok to literally give someone the coat off your back if they needed it.
Bo will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, kindness and his endearing stubbornness. For all those lucky enough to be counted as friends and family we can surely say that our lives were more interesting, more fun and filled with more love because of him. Bo's love of life and for those around him have forever changed us for the better and as his friends and family we are obligated with the same "endearing stubbornness" he often showed to live and love the same way.
Bo was preceded in death by grandparents Virgil and Christine Williams and Robert and Sarah Warner, his father, Larry Williams and brother-in-law Jared Davis. Bo leaves behind to tell his stories and share his memories: his wife Jessica, his son Ty, his sister, Traci (Tom) Adams, his mother, Becky Warner, his furry buddies, Brinx and Sullivan, along with many extended family members and lifelong friends.
A very special thanks to our family, friends, baseball family, co-workers, and neighbors for the endless amount of love, support and prayers you have given and continue to send. You all have been amazing. Thank you and God bless you.
