Larue Frederick Hoagland

LaRue F. "Rue" Hoagland, age 68 of Mogadore passed away peacefully on Friday August 6, 2021. He was born in Akron on October 3, 1952, the son of the late Harold and Veda {Volich} Hoagland.

In addition to his parents, Rue was preceded in death by his brothers Victor and Luther Hoagland.

Rue's memory will always be cherished by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen; son Steven Hoagland; daughter Amanda (Matthew Zika) Hoagland; grandson Hayden William Zika; sister Teent (Mick) Bowden; sisters-in-law Caroline Hoagland and Cindy (David) Davis; many dear friends and extended family members.

Rue had a huge heart, and was quite the jokester. He would do anything for anyone, often at the drop of a hat. Rue was a jack of all trades, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved reading and watching movies, especially from the science fiction genre. Rue enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, but none more so than his family.
