Laura Frances Craddock, 89, of Tallmadge, passed away on July 22, 2012. She was born in Alleghany County, Virginia on February 7, 1923 to the late George and Emma Givens.
Laura was a former member of Craigsville Church of Christ in Craigsville, West Virginia and more recently a member of Southeast Church of Christ in Mogadore, Ohio. She loved spending time with family and friends and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Craddock; daughter, Mary Ellen Evans; great-granddaughter, Erica Saucier (U.S. Marine); and siblings, Mary Dawson, Lonnie Lee Givens, Samuel Givens, and Benjamin Givens. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Erma (Charles) King, Frances Kay Euler, and Barbara "Bobs" (Charles "Eddie") Johnson; son-in-law, Donald Evans; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 24 from 11-12:30 followed by a 12:30 p.m. funeral service with Mr. Vernon Teagarden officiating. Burial will take place in Craigsville, West Virginia.
