Laura I Miller

Laura I Miller, 56, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on October 19, 2024. She was born on May 3, 1968. Laura graduated from North High School with the class of 1985. She was a woman of faith and was a member of Conerstone Church. She worked for the Chrysler Corp. with 15 years of service.

Laura's zest for adventure was evident in her many pursuits. She enjoyed sailing and skiing.

Beyond her physical pursuits, Laura was a talented artist at heart. She found joy in glass blowing, painting with oils, and crafting stunning stained glass windows.

Laura’s intellect shone just as brightly as her artistic abilities. She was well versed in four languages and proficient in sign language. Everything she did, she did it with dedication and excellence. 

Her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering spirit will forever resonate in our hearts. 

She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence E. Miller; grandparents Joyce and Paul Carr; and Aunt Joyce Ferry.

Laura is survived by her loving parents Peggy and Oliver Hayes; cousin David Ferry; and two beloved long hair calico cats Bailey and Bellamy.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29th, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Brenda Young officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
