Laurel Diane Paparone (Mason)

Laurel Diane Paparone (Mason), known to her friends and family as Lori, passed away on April 8, 2025. She was born in Los Angeles, California on August 2, 1955 to the late Rose and Clarence Mason. At a young age, Lori and her family relocated to Northeast Ohio. She graduated from Northwest High School.

Lori began her career as a case worker at Summit County Human Services. After several years, she moved on to work as a home health aide with Barberton Nursing Service, and then retired from More Than Gourmet.

In her free time, Lori loved trips to the casino to play the slots, fishing, and spending time with the love of her life, Art.

Lori will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 21 years, Art Paparone; sisters, Holly Cole, Julie Mason, and Beth (Donnie) Templeton; brother, Robert (Sally) Christman; and niece and nephews, Kevin and Brian Templeton, Melanie Wright, and Jason Paparone.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her nephew, David Gorby Jr. and her brother-in-law, Charles Paparone.

Per Lori's wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
