Lawrence W. Burge Jr.

Lawrence W. Burge Jr., 68, passed away at home April 16, 2024 with family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to the late Lawrence Burge and Betty Burge Leach , he was a lifelong resident of the Village of Lakemore. Larry was a business owner in his younger years and he drove a truck for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by siblings, Elloise Martin, James Burge. He will be sadly missed by his children, Larry (Randi), Ashley, Tina (Raymond); grandchildren, Madison, Katelyn, Lily, Jeremy, Katrina, Ray Jr., Mason, Emily; sisters, Brenda, Karen (Jerry); step-mother, Ruth Dawson.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
