Lawrence Foote

Lawrence "Larry" Foote, 86, passed away on August 27, 2020 at Arbors of Streetsboro. He was born April 13, 1934 in Glouster, Massachusetts to the late Captain Frank J. and Margaret (Foley) Foote. His travels as a young man led him to Madison, Ohio where he met and married Nedra (Kaufman), his wife of 49 years. They raised their son Kenneth in Cleveland, Ohio. Larry was a loving father who shared his lifelong love of sports with his son. He was always willing to get in there and play with the kids. Throughout his life, he loved playing sports including basketball, darts, pool and bowling. If by chance he could make a friendly bet - all the better! He enjoyed the racetrack, Katy Perry music and lottery tickets.

Recently, Larry could be seen riding his electric scooter around town. He never slowed down as he got older and spent each day getting out. He had a giving spirit and did not return to the nursing home without bringing something back for others, especially those who could no longer get out themselves.

In addition to his parents and siblings, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Patrick Foote in 1983, and wife, Nedra Elizabeth Foote in 2020. He will be sadly missed by sister-in-law, Donna (Steve) Seeley; nephews and nieces in Massachussets, Ohio and throughout the country including Steven (Kathy) Foote, Charles (Lori) Misch II, Deborah (Michael) Habrat, Laura (Patrick) Sandy; great nephews and great-nieces; and great niece, Meadow.

Larry will be interred alongside his wife Nedra at Ohio Western National Reserve Cemetery at a later date.
