Lawrence A. Mallory went home to be with our Lord, at the age of 79, on July 15, 2007. Lawrence was born in Ronco PA and has lived in the Akron area since 1951. He was employed at Goodyear Aerospace for 35 years then at Loral for 2 years. Lawrence was a member of the Brown Street Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Effie Mallory. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna J Mallory; daughters Laurie (Kenneth) DiCeglio of Ohio and Teri (Larry) Lamtman of Missouri; grandchildren Hollie (Ronnie) Sloan, William West (Lora McDuffie); great granddaughters Erica and Haley; step great grandchildren Kamyrn, Jake and Justin Sloan; and Ashlyn McDuffie; brothers John of Pennsylvania and Ted of California and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 19 7 P.M. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N Canton Rd, with Pastor Robert Kuhns officiating.
