Lawrence William Burge, 68, of Green, passed away October 7, 2004 at his residence. He was born April 25, 1936 in Shadyside, Ohio to the late Earl J. & Irene (Doyle) Burge. Lawrence was a member of Harvestime Temple in Hartville. He enjoyed fishing and camping and his dog, "Muffin." In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Earl James Jr., Bobby and Robert; sisters, Hazel and Peggy. He is survived by his wife of 19 1/2 years, Ruth A. Burge; daughters, Karen (Jerry) Davies, Brenda (Frank) Graham, Elloise (Earl) Martin, Kandy (Don) Fatheree, Shari (Bill) Hargrove, Charlene (Jim) Saffell; sons, Lawrence Burge II, James Burge, Richard Brown, Eddie (Marion) Brown, Bruce Brown; 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty K. Curtis, Catherine Johnson, Bonnie Sue (Richard) Freeman; brother, Jerry (Carol) Burge; special sister-in-law, Fay Burge. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Raymond "Bud" Smith officiating. Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. Monday until the service begins. Private interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Harvestime Temple, 135 E. Maple St., Hartville OH 44632
