L.C. White 65 of Akron OH after courageous continuous fight departed this earthly life on Tuesday April 11th at Akron City Hospital with his daughter beside his bedside known as dad Papa Cero,Mr. fix it,bro and uncle LC and Slim no matter what anyone called him he answered. LC was born on October 21 1957 in Bedford Ohio to Emma G White-and the late JC White, raised in Twinsburg, OH giving his life to Christ in an early age as second Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where he also sang in the youth choir. Graduating from RB Chamberlain in 1976 in the top ten of his class where he played basketball football baseball and ran track L.C. also began working at an early age where he which he continued until his health would no longer allow him to live his passion of laying cement or brick. June 16th 1979 LC married his high school sweetheart who preceded him In death March 2019 the late Ruth Ann.
LC the Dad the Papa the Brother the Uncle the Neighbor the Friend, Mr. fix it man, Cero dough was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann White his father JC White his brothers Curtis White and William Koger brother-in-law Gregory McKinney mother-in-law Mary Banks special friends that shared so many of their last days and conversations together of the late William Spragling and Ed King. LC leaves to cherish continue to share his memories his daughter Mary White granddaughter Merzaides White great granddaughter Majiezty ALCee White, mother Emma G White brothers his younger twin James Frye White (Anthony), Johnny and Samuel White sisters Pearl and Emma White all of Ohio sisters and brothers in law of Louisiana Sharon Shaw Tammy Washington Gasim and Larry Williams brother-in-law Shannon Salisbury of Ohio nephews and nieces Robert Stephanie Anthony Tina Lynette Theo Sasha and Tanisha, and aunt Mariah. He also leaves a host of cousins great nieces and nephews and great great nephews his special nieces that grew with him over time Angie and Terrica special neighbors the Lurise, Jerome, Boo and the entire Spragling family special friend of 32 years who was always that phone call away for LC, Richard (Dick) Warren. He also leaves a host of lifelong family friends. LC will be truly missed, but we know he didn't go without a fight and he is now pain free and reunited with his wife.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park in Bedford Heights, Ohio.
