Lealon Michael "Red" Corley
Lealon Michael Corley, 22, passed away November 4, 2013. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls on May 1, 1991 and graduated from Springfield High School in 2009. Red loved baseball and pitched for the Hot Stove North Hill team in his youth. He was a devoted fan of the Browns and Indians. He also loved fishing with his brother and sister. Everyone who knew Red will miss his bright brown eyes and his great sense of humor. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
Red was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lealon and Norma Corley; and uncle, Michael Eckman. He is survived by his father, Lealon Corley; mother and stepfather, Diane and Tim Pierce; sister, Emily Eckman; brother, Kyle Corley; stepsister, Margaret Parr; grandparents, Ray and Ann Eckman, Fran and Tony Ciraldo; aunts and uncles, Dave (Cindy) Corley, Steve (Patricia) Corley, Rose (Geoffrey) Baldwin, Marianne (John) Henry, Diane Young, Tina (Dr. Edward) Jastrzemski, Mark Eckman Sr., Rick (Angela) Eckman, Bob (Cathy) Eckman; many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday November 9 from 1-3 followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to IBH, 3445 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44319.
