Lee A. Brugmann

Lee A Brugmann, 67, passed away March 28, 2021, after a brief battle with Covid. Born in Ravenna, Ohio to Lynn Brugmann and Elnora (Rhinehart) Brugmann, Lee was a lifelong area resident. Lee previously worked in the family business, Brugmann Sand and Gravel. He greatly enjoyed football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, his bird watching and all his bird feeders, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Lee will be sadly missed by his wife of 37 years, Karen (nee Waclawski), daughter Megan Brugmann and son Steve (Kristin) Brugmann, his beloved dog and faithful companion Ellie, grandchildren Jennifer, Claylinn, and Savanna, great-grandaughter, Maxàlynn, brother, Andrew (Karen), sisters Carol and Christine, tons of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that he adored, and a multitude of loving family and lifelong friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, April 5, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 North Canton Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 concerns, please expect to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Lee's name to his family.
