Lee Roy Tompkin

Lee Roy Tompkin, long-time resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2020 at the age of 64. Lee was born on February 17, 1956 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was a machinist by trade, but dabbled in many construction jobs, and loved to work with his hands. Lee found the Lord in 1986 as a father of three, and since then found strength in his faith. He often shared his deep knowledge of scripture with those of us lucky enough to be called family. Lee was a huge fan of music, Rock and Roll having a special place in his heart, and loved to share his passion with others as often as possible.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Yvonne (Young) Tompkin and brothers, Chris Tompkin and Dale Tompkin.

Lee is survived by his sister, Linda Nay (Mike); children, Milinda Siciliano Noe (Hubert), Emily Yvonne Tompkin Cummings (Mike), Joshua Tompkin (Stephanie), and Adrienne Tompkin; his grandchildren, Nicholas Trussel, Jacob Trussel, Meagan Patrick, Brandon Shrivnauth, Melanie Shrivnauth, Genevieve Tompkin, Vivienne Tompkin, Brooklynn Tompkin, and Hunter Whipp.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am -12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305. Funeral service at 12:00pm followed by interment at Oakwood cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. www.NewcomerAkron.com
