Leon Webb

Our beloved Dad passed away on September 23.2023, following a short illness. He was born to Charles and Hazel Webb on September 15, 1933, and he celebrated his 90th birthday on September 15, 2023. Ed lived in the Akron area his entire life. He was the Assistant Water Superintendent for the city of Cuyahoga Falls until he retired to take care of his most beloved wife, Shirley, until her passing in May of 1995. At that time, Ed went back to work, mowing greens for Sycamore Golf Course until he officially retired in his 80's. He married his second wife, Donna, at Redeemer Church, and they were together for 28 years.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Marie Scott, his first wife, Shirley and his son, Leon E. Webb, Jr. He is survived by the loves of his life, his three kids, Julia Young, Shelley (Mark) Giangaspero, and John (Vickie) Webb. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Erin (Shane) Harris, Emily (Mike) Saunders, Christopher Young, John Webb Jr. (Ashley), and Megan Webb (Logan), as well as great grandchildren Noah Saunders, Ella and Evan Harris. Also surviving are many nephews and Nieces.

You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept your faith. Our family will be forever grateful to Pastor Paul of Redeemer Church for all you have done to help us through the most difficult time.

Funeral Services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th Street, Cuyahoga Falls on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 12:00 noon with public visitation from 11:00 to 12:00. Memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
