Leona Mae Treen

Leona M. "Lea" Treen passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born in Mogadore, Ohio to William and Leona Marshall on December 24, 1936. She graduated from Suffield High School, class of 1954. After school, she worked at various jobs but landed in tax preparation where she worked for over 60 years. Leona owned and operated Cardinal Income Tax and helped so many people over the years. She was a faithful member at Faith Bible Fellowship for more than 30 years. Lea loved to bowl and would do so as often as possible. She also enjoyed bingo, yard sales and her many cats.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Robert; husband, Ralph C. Treen; six brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children, Laura Congrove and Doug Congrove Sr.; siblings, Sam (Lydia) Marshall and Judy (Tim) Perriguey; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 10am until the time the Funeral Service begins at 11am at Faith Bible Fellowship (126 W. Overdale Dr., Tallmadge, OH 44278). Pastor Les Sutherland will officiate. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
