It’s sad to say the greatest father a person could ever be blessed with, passed away April 7th 2025 at the age of 97.
Leonard was a World War II Vet who proudly served our country. He was always willing to help anyone in any way he could. When you would just drop by he would stop whatever he was doing to spend time with you. It would be the highlight of his day.
Leonard loved tinkering and making any kind of contraption imaginable. If it didn’t work out he’d go right back to the drawing board. Some of his best friends were his birds and squirrels. Soon as they seen him come out, they came a running.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Mae Selman along with his parents Russel and Mona Selman, brothers Elza and Junior and sister Betty.
He is survived by his six children, Teresa (Don) Lee, Leonard C. Selman, (Theresa), Leona (Jim) Slinkard, Lorraine Selman (Randy) , Anna (Jim) King, Bill (GiGi) Selman along with 13 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Leonard will be forever missed but will live in our hearts forever.
