Leroy "Bing" Cradlebaugh, 87, passed away May 20, 2023 at his home in Germantown, Ohio.
He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 5, 1936 to the late Guy and Stella Cradlebaugh. He retired from the City of Akron and enjoyed stock car racing, camping, bowling, golfing, bingo, Cleveland sports and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, Bing was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, MaryLou, brothers Charles and Gerald Cradlebaugh and grandson Ryan Cradlebaugh.
He is survived by sons Ted (Heather) and Kenny (Cheri) Cradlebaugh; sister Stella Marie Stringer (Terry); sister in-laws Shirley and Virginia Cradlebaugh; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many other loved family and friends.
Everyone is welcome to visit Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Friday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Leroy's name to the charity of their choice.
