Leslie P. "Pat" Gray

Leslie P. "Pat" Gray, 91, passed away on February 13, 2007. She was born in Fannin Co., GA on March 4, 1915 to the late Jehue and Ida Ware. Leslie moved to Akron in the 1950's from Georgia and worked as a waitress for 35 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl and daughters Susan Peerman and Betty Beers. Survivors include daughter Helen Bragg; sons Howard (Shirley), Harold (Betty Lou), Carl (Nancy), and Jim (Arlena); 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law Jim Peerman; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to her special nephew and niece Terry and Pat Ware and the staff of Pebble Creek Nursing Home and Akron General Medical Center. Calling hours will be Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Susan Bowman of Lockwood Church officiating.
