Levy Alvin Walters

Levy Alvin Walters, 66, of Akron, went home to be with his Lord on June 25, 2020. Levy was born in Tampa, Florida on August 10, 1953 to the late Green and Ruby (Channey) Walters. Levy was a retired bricklayer with Local 7. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Levy is survived by his beloved wife, Vernista Butts-Walters; daughters, Kateca (Eddie) Silas and Darricka Edney; son, Damon Butts (Rena Phillips-Butts); siblings, Gloria Thomas, Cameron Walters, Barbara (Tommy) Bell, and Crystal (John) Ruffin; granddaughters, Kayla Malone and Leah Edney; grandson, Damon Butts Jr.; mother-in-law, Idella Butts; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Beverly (Joe Humphrey), Patricia (James) Smith, Joseph Butts, and Henry Butts Jr. (Montrella); a host of other relatives and friends.
