Lewis Rogacs, Jr., "Lou or Louie", age 76 of Mogadore, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Akron on September 20, 1941, the son of the late Lewis and Mary Francis (nee Palmer) Rogacs, Sr.
Louie was a 1959 graduate of North High School and was an over the road truck driver for Baker Vehicle in Macedonia, Ohio. He also worked at JC Penney in Lakemore and Adesa in Boston Hgts. He enjoyed golf, trains-he was a Lionel train collector, he loved to go bicycle riding with his wife, and he loved to travel. Lou was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Joyce Collier, whom he married on February 8, 1985; his children, Kimberly Cain and Terri (Jimmie) Kincaid; his grandchildren, Nick Cain, Christopher Smith, Justin Smith, and Nicolena Slovick; and many great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Patricia "Pat" Rogacs; and his "girlfriends", Arleen and Debbie.
There will be a military service at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. For details on when services are, please contact the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
