Lewis D. Shafer

Lewis D. Shafer, 32, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2023. Born in Akron, Ohio to Lewis and Beverly Shafer, he resided in the Akron area most of his life. Lewis enjoyed watching Alabama play football, camping, sitting around a bonfire and spending time with his children and family.
Lewis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phyllis and Darrell Shafer, Joyce and Ron Colbetzor. He will be sadly missed by his children, Cameron, JaCee; parents, Beverly (Jay) Jastromb, Lewis Shafer; sister, Heather (Scott) Franklin; grandparents, Gloria and Bill Sherman; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Kenmore Church of the Nazarene, 2025 12th St. SW, Akron, Ohio 44314. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Lewis' name to the Kenmore Church of the Nazarene or the charity of their choice.
