Lillian M. Ponder (nee Jenkins)
Lillian M. Ponder (nee Jenkins), 89, passed away on March 18, 2009. Lillian had been a resident of Akron until 2001 when she relocated to Boca Raton, FL. She enjoyed knitting. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Luther A. Ponder and 8 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son Luther; grandson Dustin; brother Walter (Millie) Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday at Noon at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
