Linda K. Bissell

Linda K. Bissell, 71, passed away June 18, 2021 after an extended illness. Born in Belmont County, Ohio to Oliver and Virginia (Earliwine) Perkins, she resided in the Akron area all of her adult life. She previously worked at Clarkins Warehouse and later retired from AMHA. Linda greatly enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, watching Gunsmoke on TV and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by husband, Edgar "Eddie" Bissell and nephew, Jeremy Witzberger. She will be sadly missed by son, Todd Metcalf; sister, Terri Perkins Witzberger; niece, Krystal Witzberger Gaines; former spouse, Doug Metcalf; best friend, Karen Bates; other family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may memorial donations in Linda's name to the charity of their choice.
