Linda Ann Burnside

Linda Ann Burnside, age 71 of Akron, Ohio, died on June 9, 2020 at her home after a very long, and courageous battle with non-alcoholic liver and kidney failure.
She was born on February 22, 1949 in Akron, the daughter of the late Jerry and Helen (nee Nicholas) Ickes.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Central Hower High School and was a manager at the Coventry License Bureau for 20 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her three children, Joseph Burnside Jr., Cheryl Smith and Robert (Theresa) Burnside; her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda's former husband, Joseph Burnside Sr. and her siblings also survive, Larry Ickes, Lonnie (Sue) Ickes and Lynette Wright and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Laurie Ickes.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron
