Linda L. Campisi

Linda L. Campisi, 58, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family on August 20, 2018. She was born in Barberton on November 6, 1959. Family was a big part of Linda's life. She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, boating, fishing and gardening. Linda was a dietician at Summa St. Thomas for many years.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, James P. Raines Sr.; step-father, Larry A. Ball; brother, Thomas Zimmer; and feline companion, Socks. She is survived by her mother, Glendola Ball; the love of her life, Scott Jones; daughter, Amanda (Jonathan Forgues) Campisi; granddaughter, Evelynn Rickert; brothers, Jim (Michelle) Raines, Paul (Danyel) Raines; nieces, Aris, Kayla and Kyra; nephew, James III; and many other family and friends. Her animal family also includes pets, Echo, Thunder, Bella, Smokey, Capone, Tippy, Twilight and Peanut.

Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service to begin at 6pm. Minister and cousin Tonya Barnette officiating. Cremation to take place at a later date.
