Linda D. Pattenaude, 63, passed away March 29, 2011. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 24, 1947 to the late Frank and Rosalie Antya. She graduated from River Rouge High School in Michigan and later lived in Valley City, Ohio and the Akron, Ohio area. Throughout her life, she worked as a dog groomer and a baker. Linda was also a longtime tropical fish hobbyist. She will be deeply missed by her children, Melanie (Jack) Prough, Jr., Todd (Jamie) Pattenaude, and Toby Pattenaude; brother, Frank Antya; grandchildren, Jack Prough III, Troy Prough, Steven Prough, Jessica Wilson, Casey Hamlin, Dannielle Hamlin, David Engeman, Lillian Pattenaude, Aaron Pattenaude, and Kourtney Rose Pattenaude; great-grandchildren, Paige, Taylor, Brooke, Douglas, Daniel, and Lauren. Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 1-5 p.m. with a reflection hour at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Linda's family to benefit Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and the Springfield Twp. Volunteer Fire Department.
