Linda S. Danner

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, Linda Danner, who left us on September 23, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on May 11, 1955, to Dorthy and Michael Savich, she brought joy and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda was a devoted mother to her daughters, Nicole (son-in-law David Rathbun) and Tracy (son-in-law Mark Fahrenz), along with their father, Jerry Danner. Together, they will forever cherish the countless memories they created as a family. She is also survived by her cherished cat, Mongkey, who provided her with companionship and comfort.

A dedicated caregiver, Linda worked at Children’s Hospital, where her compassion and nurturing spirit made a profound impact on the lives of countless children and their families. Her kindness and warmth brought comfort to those in need, and she found deep fulfillment in being a source of support during their toughest moments.

A woman of many passions, Linda had a deep appreciation for jewelry and home shopping, always on the hunt for the next unique piece to add to her collection. Her love for gardening was evident in the vibrant flowerbeds she tended with care. Flowers held a special significance for her, and she delighted in sharing blooms from her garden with friends and family. Linda found joy in puzzles, which provided both a challenge and a relaxing escape. She treasured her time spent at the lake and camp, where she made lasting memories with her childhood friends, Terri and Patti, and their families.

Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed. 

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 30th from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 6:00pm with Pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.

Mother, Mommy, Mom, Ma-your love will continue to bloom in our hearts forever.
