Linda Lou Deprato

Linda Lou DePrato, 72, of Akron, passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1950 to the late Raymond and Lenora {Logan} Benson.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Martha Hymes; sister-in-law Dolly Benson.

Linda is survived by her loving children, Robert DePrato; Michelle (Brian) Jonke and Cristina (Brian) Jones; grandchildren Anthony, Chase and Gianna; her first great-grandchild on the way; brothers William Benson and Robert (Ann) Benson.

Linda worked as a telecommunications specialist for Akron General. She was a member of The Chapel in Akron. Linda loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Wednesday, December 21 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Todd Schreiner officiating. Interment to follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, where Linda will be laid to rest.
