Linda J. Beane, 63, of Akron, passed away March 10, 2014. She was born in Akron on May 2, 1950 to the late Melvin and Thelma Croston. Linda was a devout Christian and a former pastor. She was a dedicated member of Lakeview Lighthouse Church.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Vicky C. Matthews and brother, Melvin Croston, Jr. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Boyd, whom she married in 1968; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Roger Wilson; sister, Sharon Norris; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Allison, and Alexa; and niece and nephew, Tammy (Scott) Cole and Joe Matthews.
A special thanks to the VITAS Hospice nurses and a very special thank you to Amber Stevens for caring for Mom and seeing her through.
A memorial service will be held Thursday March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Lakeview Lighthouse Church, 1065 Kubler Trail, Akron, with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating.
