Linda Karen Liska passed away peacefully and with grace on April 27, 2013. She was born for the late Lawrence and Christine Liska on March 29, 1951. Linda graduated from Akron University and retired from the Akron Board of Education. Linda's nieces and nephew were her passion and delight. She shared many adventures while never missing a birthday, basketball, baseball, or swim meet. She was very active in sharing their lives and celebrating their achievements.
Linda is survived by her brother, Lee (Noreen) Liska; sisters, Christina Liska and Laura (Gary) Clark; and her beloved nephew, William Clark, and nieces, Cassandra and Kathleen Clark and Donna Liska.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Linda's honor at any Fifth Third Bank.
