Linda L. Robinson passed away Wednesday, August 28, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Akron on November 18, 1942, Linda spent most of her life in Springfield Township. Her family meant the world to her, and when she wasn't attending one of her grandchildren's events, she could be found in her garden, catering to her flowers the same way she catered to all those she loved, with tremendous care.
Preceded in death by her parents, Vergle and Martha Gipson, she leaves behind her dedicated husband of 51 years, Bill; her children, David Sr. and Debbie (Jeff) Hedrick. She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren, Constance, Aristia (Jaret), David Jr., Brooke, McKenzie and Logan; cherished siblings, Vergle (Mary Ann) and Patrick Gipson, Chet Rowe, and Linda Branham; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Calling hours will be TODAY, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
