Linda Lou Woods, 66, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. She was born August 29, 1947 in Fairmont, WV to the late Denver and Glenda Nestor. She had a crazy love for her children and poured out her generosity and love to many.
Linda Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Happy Woods and daughter Vickie Rollins. She is survived by her children; Troy Lee (Patty) Whitecotton, Melissa (Mark) Whitecotton, Jason (Shana) Whitecotton and their father Ronald Whitecotton, godson Danny Ellis, son-in-law Mike Rollins, sisters Brenda and Kay (Andy), brothers; Dennis, Paul (Lisa) and Denver (Diane), 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many other relatives.
Friends and family may call 5-8 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the funeral home with her son Bishop Troy Lee Whitecotton officiating. Final resting place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
