Linda Marie Baugher (nee Mangus), 65. After many years of struggling with numerous health challenges, Linda found serenity at 2:00 pm February 5, in a more peaceful place, surrounded by family and friend, Linda Bozick. She was a 1963 graduate of Springfield High School, worked at Alside for 20 years as an Office Administrative Assistant, and also worked at Kent Machine and City Machine. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Reda (nee Smith) Mangus; father, Jack E. Mangus; and brother, Jackie Mangus. She is survived by her loving and loyal husband of 45 years, John C.; daughter, Steffy (Toby) Cooley of San Diego, Ca.; son, Danny (Rachael) of Brecksville; grandsons, Trevor and Easton; step-mother, Heidi Mangus of Tallmadge; brother, Ron Mangus of Hartville; and sister, Diana (Bob) McCary of Tallmadge. The family expresses its deepest gratitude for the compassion and care extended by the staff at Summa Western Reserve Hospital with special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit. A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, February 9, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 5:30 pm with Pastor Barry French officiating.
