Linda Marie Peters, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov 29, 2009. Linda was born in Athens, Ohio but lived most of her life in the Akron-Barberton area. She was preceded in death by her mother & father, Gladys & Kenneth Baker. She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Peters; mother-in-law, Mae Peters; brothers, Chris Baker & Larry Potter; nieces, Sabrina Baker, Lauri Potter and Tracy Potter; nephews, Cory Baker & Larry Potter Jr., Karen & Harve Jones & family. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, with Pastor Phil Hulgin officiating.
