Linda J. Perego, age 71 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on August 26, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was born on September 23, 1950 in Weston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Dale and Genevieve (nee Burkhammer) Ballard.
Linda retired from Jobs and Family Services of Summit County after 19 years of service. Linda enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, gardening, making fudge, working crossword puzzles and was an avid crafter.
Her greatest joy was spending time with family especially, her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie (Tim) Mullen and Shela Snyder; her step-children, David Perego and Lee Ann Perego; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Dillon, Jordan, Trevor, Lucas, Shelby, Vincent and Lexie; and several great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her two sisters, Maxine and Karen; and her devoted, loving dog, Dolly.
Other than her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, James Perego on January 26, 2022; and six siblings.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
