Linda Rae Lewis, 66, entered into the arms of the Lord on March 26, 2012 after a long battle with COPD.
She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on March 1, 1946. Linda was a server for many years, working most recently with her best friend Joan at Denny's. A devout Christian, Linda was a member of New Life Episcopal Church in Uniontown where she sang in the choir and served on the Altar Guild. In her free time, she enjoyed craft shows, the Hartville Flea Market, Amish Country, and traveling with Joan. She so loved family get togethers, especially cookouts, birthdays, and holiday parties.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Hoover. She will be deeply missed by her children, Bonnie (Sheri) and Mike (Donna); brothers, Tim (Kay), David (Stephanie), and Danny (Bob); grandson, Randy; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving best friends and caregivers, Joan and Ron Warren. A special thanks to the staff at Ridgewood Hospice Center for their kind and loving care of Linda.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. at New Life Episcopal Church, 13118 Church Ave NW, Uniontown, OH 44685 with Rev. Patricia Hanen, PhD presiding. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Episcopal Church.
