Linda L. Ritz-Sammons

Linda L. Ritz-Sammons, age 76, of Wadsworth passed away on July 18, 2024. She was born on November 9, 1947, to the late Marvin and Eva Ritz. Much of her career was in manufacturing as a machine operator. She completed beauty school at Gerber Beauty School in 1974. She was involved in many activities including being a member of the Barberton Moose, a board member of Ohio Country Music Association, and volunteered with People Serving People/Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. Her passion was for the Music Barn of Medina and her love for family and friends. Survivors include brothers Larry (Margie) Ritz, and Lanny (Debbie) Ritz; nephews Eric Ritz, Joe Ritz, and Jim Ritz; and many extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Sammons, and her sister Lorna Ritz. 

Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
