Linda C. S. Sharkey

Linda C. S. Sharkey, 51, went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2019 with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, IN to Fahad and Nazeera Shaheen. She attended Purdue University, where she met her husband, Todd, and graduated with a degree in Dietetics. In 1993 they started their family and moved to Akron, OH. They began attending The Chapel, where Linda actively served in kid's ministry until her passing. She enjoyed home schooling her four children, attending multiple Bible studies, gathering with friends, enjoying home cooked Middle Eastern food, playing games with her children and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her mother, Nazeera Shaheen, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 28 years, Todd; children, Christopher, Stephen, Andrew and Makayla; father, Fahad Shaheen; brother, Larry; in-laws, Mike and Jayne Sharkey; sister in-law, Tiffany Sharkey; brother in-law, Keith (Callie) Sharkey; nephew, Jacen.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, July 18, 2019 between 5 and 7 p.m. at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304. The funeral service will take place Friday, July 19 at The Chapel at 2 p.m., with Pastors Jim Mitchell and Tim Miller officiating.
