Linda Jane Woodliff

Linda Jane Woodliff, 80, went Home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Akron, Ohio, where she was a lifelong resident. She retired from Rite Aid, where she worked as a pharmacy technician. Linda greatly enjoyed watching and feeding the many birds that visited her home everyday, playing cards, doing puzzles, hiking, fishing, taking trips to New England as well as the ocean. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Gross; daughter, Christine Bert; brother, Donald Dugger. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Thomas "Pat" Woodliff; children, Thomas (Mia) Woodliff II, Tammy (Dennis) Alexander, John Woodliff, Wendy (Shelley) Waecliff; grandchildren, Michelle, Tiffany, Jeffrey, Chelsea, Alyssa, Joey, Lauren, Jason, Johel; great grandchildren, Tye, Brianna, Ethan, Layla, Kieran, Sophia; siblings, Cathy Archer, Dave (Debbie) Dugger, Mark Dugger, Jimmy (Missy) Gross; close friends, Pam & Jay Murphy; many other family and friends.

"If you knew Linda, you knew how special she was. The sweetest, kindest most loving person. She always checked in on everyone, took the time to tell you how much she loved you, how proud she was of you and that she was thinking about you. She made sure to thank everyone for even the smallest things. She was selfless to a fault".

In the words of her loving husband - "She was my beloved wife and my life".

A memorial service will take place Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Allenside Presbyterian Church, 410 Rexford St., Akron, Ohio 44314. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the service. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Linda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
