Lisa Ann Wahl

Lisa Ann Wahl, 63, of Mogadore, passed away on December 19, 2024 at Summa Akron City Hospital. She was born in Akron on June 2, 1961 to Tom and Audrey Gear.

Lisa grew up in Mogadore and graduated from Mogadore High School. She spent many years employed as a secretary for a doctor's office before her health limited her ability to work. Despite the physical challenges she faced, Lisa was still able to care for her family. She was an excellent cook and managed the household for her beloved son and mother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching mystery movies with her mother while sharing a big bowl of popcorn.

Lisa was generous, loving, and always there for the people who needed her, especially her son, Josh. She will be truly missed by her family and countless friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Tom Gear; husband, Larry Wahl; and niece, Brandi Gear.

Lisa is survived by her son, Josh Wright; mother, Audrey Gear; brother, Tom (Terri) Gear, sisters, Mary (Bill) Jandecker and Pam (Chris) Kerby; nephews and nieces, T.J. Gear, Brittani (Michael) McCulty and their children Colt and Reagan, Hunter Jandecker, Heather Jandecker, Jackie Kerby, and Ryan Kerby; many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Lisa's life will be held in April. Details to follow.
