Lloyd A. Burmeister -aka- Poppy, 72 years old, of Akron, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, July 7, 2023, after a long courageous battle with COPD. He was a self-employed entrepreneur.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Jean, father, Stanley J, and brother in-law, Bob.
He is survived by wife, Michele aka Missy, of 29 years his partner in crime; his siblings, Phyllis Ray of Kansas City Kansas and Craig Burmeister of Tampa Florida; his children, Billie Jo Burmeister, Tracy Burmeister, Tina Galloway, Alisha Brooks (Tim) and Ryan Brooks; his grandchildren, Susan (Jeff) Snyder, Jennifer Cole, Gage Murray, Lyndsey Burmeister, Kelsey Stecyk, Summer Sipe, Jon Stecyk-Burmeister, Dillon Sipe, Gwyn Galloway, Tatianna Imler, Carter Galloway, Savannah Imler andXzavier Imler; and his great-grandchildren, Braxton, Layla, Jonah, Matalynn, Mathew, Blake, Kaiden, Charlie, five more on the way and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at West Hill Baptist Church, 605 Revere Road, Akron, Ohio, on July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with food and fellowship to follow.
