Lois J. Cole (nee Collier)
Lois J. Cole, 74, of Tallmadge, passed away on October 8, 2006 after a couragious 11 year battle with cancer. She enjoyed working with ceramics and sewing in her spare time. Lois worked for Tallmadge City Schools as a teachers aide for over 28 years. She was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church for 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Ernest R. Cole. Lois is survived by her children April Martin (Rick), Jayme Protich, Robert Brannon-Cole (Debbie) and Ernie Cole (Sonya) all of Tallmadge and Kathy Fowler (David) of Mogadore;11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren;sisters Juanita Heatwall of Tallmadge and Carolyn Owens of Akron. Family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron on Wednesday, October, 11 from 4-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 am with Pastor Jim Jensen officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tallmadge High Schools Lois J. Cole Scholarship Fund. Online condolences may be made at www.newcomerfamily.com.
