Lois M. Greathouse
Lois M. Greathouse, 86, of Tallmadge passed away Sunday July 13, 2008. Lois always considered others before herself. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lois was a great cook, she enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph; parents Alvin and Emma Lodwick and brother David Lodwick. She is survived by her daughters Joann Shank and Mary (Martin) Armbruster; Sons Charles (Kathy), William (Rita), James (Marian) and Jerry (Cheryl); sister Sylvia Spencer; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd., Akron with Dr. David Bittinger officiating. Interment will take place at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may call from 6 - 8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
