Lois Hinerman, 89, was taken to Heaven on March 3, 2006. She was a member of Akron Baptist Temple where she also taught Sunday school, worked in the church nursery, and was involved in the nursing home ministry. Lois was also a member of the Rolling Acres mall-walkers club and sang in their ladies choir. Preceded in death by her husband William; her parents Fred and Elsie Stephen; her sister Evelyn Price; and her twin sister Doris Bloom. Survivors include her daughter Judy (Bob) Harris; grandchildren Joshua and Andrew; brother Paul Stephen; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to caregivers at "Lots of Love" for their special care of Lois over the past four years. Calling hours will be Monday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. A funeral service for friends and family will be Tuesday, 3 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park Chapel, Rev.
