Lois McGuire Jenkins
Lois McGuire Jenkins, 92, passed away on Monday, February 21. She was born on July 19, 1912 in Southern Illinois. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Percy, and brother Louis. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Jenkins (Ann); grandsons, Robert L. Jenkins, Jr. (Sheri) and Paul Ott Jenkins (Monica) and great-grandson Jack Jenkins and great-granddaughter Tabitha Jenkins; brother, Tom. Lois had lived most of her life in the Akron area. She was a member of the Lakemore United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their camper and spent many winters in Orange City, FL. Lois was a gentle, loving person who was dedicated to her family. Services will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Pastor Jeff Gindelsberger officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. Thursday until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, gift may be sent to Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., Akron OH 44312
