Lois E. Johnson

Lois E. Johnson, 86, passed away on October 26, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1936 the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Bixler. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her love for her family who meant everything to her. She never missed any of her children's games and was fondly known as the "Team Mom". She also enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her inlaws.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Johnson; and siblings Jeanne Kenepp, Barbara Bixler, Donna Carden, and Donnie Bixler.
Lois is survived by her loving family, children, William (Anna) Johnson, Vickie (Sam Grace) Johnson, and Richard Johnson; daughter-in-law Diane Dolecki; grandchildren Julie (Jason) Bowling, David (Sherri) Johnson, and Anthony Johnson; great grandchildren Eloise Bowling, Vivian Johnson, and Quinton Johnson; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Amy Downard officiating.
