Lois J. Keplinger, age 71 of Akron, Ohio, died on January 6, 2023 at her home.
She was born on August 31, 1951 in Akron, the daughter of the late James and Louise (nee Bennett) McKinney.
Lois was a very hard worker and loved her family. She was the "neighborhood mom", and was known as Mrs. K to the all of the kids.
Survivors include her three boys, Brian Keplinger, Jason (Debbie) Keplinger and Kevin (Brandi) Keplinger; her grandchildren, Jason, Kayla, Ava, Anastacia, Trent and Addi.
Her sister, Ginny (Tom) Stutler, also survives.
Other than her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Richard McKinney.
There will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
