Lois "Margene" Allshouse

Lois "Margene" Allshouse, 77, of Akron, passed away April 21, 2002 at Hospice Care Center. She was born July 18, 1924 in Akron to the late Harry F. & Ruby M. (Buterbaugh) Hertzog. Margene was a member of the Springfield Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Allshouse, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Ellis; son, Robert Allshouse; sister, Pat Baldinger, all of Akron; 4 grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve VanHouten officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
