Lois Mary Bokman, age 61 of Akron, Ohio, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home.
She was born on October 7, 1954 in Akron, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary McDermott Bokman.
Lois was a 1972 graduate of St. Mary High School in Akron and she also attained her BS in 1993 from Cleveland State University in Occupational Therapy. Lois was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church. She loved the ocean and loved to watch Chuck Norris movies.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jessi Broz of Sylvania, and Katie (Brian) Szeligo of Columbus; her siblings, Lloyd (Rosi) Bokman and Marie Geig.
Memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 30, 2016, where Pastor Deborah Wissner will celebrate Lois' life.
