Lois Shuey

Lois Shuey, age 88, passed away after a lengthy illness October 31, 2008 to her Heavenly Home. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Delilah Richards, husband, Walter of 62 years, son, Warren Lee and brother, Harold. She is survived by sisters, Doris Pettman of Virginia and Phyllis Blake of Colorado Springs; son, Ranald E. A. Schuey of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Linda Shuey of Akron; granddaughter, Heather Ann Parasram of Nova Scotia; grandson, Graham Schuey of Canada; cousins, Fred Krager of Akron and Nancy Guillod of Akron; many loving nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Anita Richards. She was a member of The Chapel. Family thanks to VNS, Palliative Care, Rockynol, Chapel Care Ministries, special caregivers Ruth, Betty, Rita, her special neighbors, and Kathryn. Donations in remembrance maybe made to VNS, The Chapel, Haven of Rest, Parkinson Foundation, Heart Fund, or the Organ Fund for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Akron, Ohio. Calling hours Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio followed by services at 11:00 a.m. Internment at Hillside Memorial Park.
